Hilton outside the US is SUCH a great experience. Here they upcharge you for everything and save money whereever they can, making the experience annoying - and I don't want to stay at an expensive hotel just to be annoyed.
Breakfast was good, but it was also $25. +$4 per espresso. +tax. +mandatory tip. ... One breakfast with one espresso: $38.45 - with no made-to-order omlets, nothing. Just a big tub with scrambled eggs. No cheese. Orange juice? Included, but only upon request. No coffee maker. I mean, it wasn't bad, they had some fresh fruit, but it was NOT $38.45. The mandatory tip tells me that they aren't paying their staff proper salaries. And the AI slop all over their menu and advertisements tells me management ain't paying nobody but ChatGPT.
Can of juice from the kiosk? $10. Cheese flatbread in the evening? $25. +tax. +tip. Vegan cheese? +$8. How can a cheese swap cost more than an entire Domino's Pizza...?
It's things like this that make you feel like a cow, getting milked by Hilton, than a valued guest. :/
This stay was great! Location is beautiful and well kept. It is in a quiet part of Pasadena but has a cute downtown area. Parking is a little pricey but no more than a lot of other hotels. Staff got us in a little early and the room was beautiful, clean, and in an excellent location. I really appreciated how the Front Desk warned us it was a noisey room (it was the only one available for early check in). However, the room was great and we slept like champs!! I do wish we were told about the amenities as we only knew about the pool as we walked past it when checking out. Great service, beautiful hotel, and very clean. Good work Hilton Pasadena!! ;)
A Standout Experience at the Pasadena Hilton!
I accidentally left my iPad behind at the Pasadena Hilton, but thanks to the incredible Housekeeping Manager, Julio, it was safely returned to me! He truly went above and beyond, and I'm so grateful for his dedication. This kind of exceptional service is why I choose Hilton every time. Kudos to Julio and the entire team - you've earned a loyal customer!
I had a fantastic stay at the Hilton Pasadena. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location, but what really made my experience special was the amazing housekeeping service. Margarita, the housekeeping attendant, went above and beyond to make sure everything in my room was perfect. She was incredibly kind, professional, and paid attention to every detail.
It’s rare to come across someone who clearly takes so much pride in their work. Thanks to Margarita, my room always felt spotless and welcoming after a long day. Her hard work definitely did not go unnoticed.
Overall, the staff at Hilton Pasadena made my stay wonderful, but Margarita truly stood out. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
A unique situation that was no fault of the staff or facility. A wedding party had a bit too much to drink and was causing a disturbance late at night. Staff came to the room(s) and did their best, but after the third instance we requested a new room on a different floor. They accommodated us and were super friendly and apologetic. Even though we didn't sleep the best, we had a positive experience given the situation. Highly recommend. Shoutout to the night crew!
