The food is exceptional! Will return to taste every item on the menu. My favorite is the Pappardelle Al Cinghiale (wide noodles with wild boar). The Gelato is authentic to Rome, Italy. The pistachio is delicious 😋

I was so excited to see Bulgarini was open again after the fires!! My partner and I came back for dinner and gelato - both continue to be incredibly good. To this day: hands down the best gelato I've had, and some of the best hand-crafted pasta in Los Angeles. The Gnudi Toscani and focaccia were our favorites over dinner. I highly recommend the yellow peach gelato! Very strongly looking forward to going back again!
Absolutely amazing Italian food in a pleasant, relaxing atmosphere with warm and friendly service. Handmade pasta, pizzas and many other delicious menu choices await. Treat yourself to a wonderful evening and top it off with the best gelato you’ll ever have. You won’t be disappointed.
I made a tour of Altadena with a look at the utterly destroyed neighborhood where I experienced the 1971 San Fernando earthquake. Then went to Bulgarini for a gelato. I had my eye on their homemade gelato since way before the fires. The dark chocolate is terrific, but the (bitter) orange chocolate is sublime. Worth a detour from anywhere in SoCal! A capacity crowd (20?) was enjoying leisurely dinners outside that wafted heavenly aromas my way. If you are ready to pay with Zelle from your banking app, you will get that task done quicker.
We have been coming here for almost 15 years and greatly missed it after the fire. We are SO happy they are open again! After almost two years we were able to sit on the patio, have several delicious pastas (and the meat course was as good as ever) and enjoy the best gelato in LA. Please go out to Altadena and support them!!
