I got the chilaquiles today at Tacos Neza since I have always passed by them here in old town pasadena and have been more tempted to try them as they've been getting customers as of late instead of it being usually pretty lonely when I'd pass by before. The chilaquiles were pretty classic tasting for some morning chilaquiles. Tortillas were soft, salsa was a tad bit on the salter side, and the avocados were a bit the browner side when it was served. However the eggs was a perfect over easy giving a nice yolky-ness to the tortillas. Also the asada that was an additional two dollars instead of chicken was somewhat meh since the asada didn't really taste like asada, more like a kind of sausage links, which I actually really enjoyed. Overall very nice spot for breakfast to eat here in old pas in you want the classic mexican breakfast here in old town pasadena, a tad bit on the steeper side of the for 25 dollars for chilaquiles but its a reasonable amount for two people who are light eaters.

It’s a small restaurant with only one server and probably one cook. You have to use their self service kiosks to order food.
The food took forever to come. It was not good.
The steak plate was bland and tasteless.
The scrambled egg plate was a shame. The salad was stale. The avocado was cut as thinly as possible.
I can imagine all the restaurants are cost cutting these days but this place was beyond me.
Their prices on the menu are on par with normal restaurants prices but the portions sizes are minuscule.
Watered down coffee was the nail in the coffin. Chipped plates were another eyesore.
Won’t recommend it.
Let me tell you... I will be dreaming of this burrito for the rest of my life ✨️ I've had Mexican food in Cali, but never like this! The flavors took me straight back to Mexico City. The flavors were phenomenal 🥹
I got the veggie burrito with guacamole added. The potatoes were seasoned to perfection, the poblano was grilled packed with flavor, the cheese was melted, the side of red sauce was giving authentic grilled chipotles without an over spicy punch it was just right. The burrito was grilled perfectly to the point it wouldnt open on its mended fold and you could eat the burrtio with peace of mind and just vibe each bite. Lots of little happy dances were done while eating this burito 😆 The mint lemonade was an added bonus, sososo fresh and didnt taste artificial ✨️ Please open one in Vegas 🙏

My girlfriend told me about Tacos Neza a while ago, and we finally made it! We parked around Old Pasadena and walked a few minutes — the place was calm and super clean.
We ordered the Encostrados — each plate comes with two crispy cheese-wrapped rolls and your choice of filling (Pastor, Asada, Chicken, or Veggies). I tried one Asada and one Chicken — both incredible! The meat was perfectly grilled, the cheese crust added a smoky touch, and the flavors blended beautifully. 🤤
They also give you pickled onions and a few spicy sauces on the side — highly recommend adding a little green salsa for extra kick. 🌶️🔥
The vibe is modern but cozy, service is friendly, and prices are fair.

Simple table & ordering set up with quick service & delicious tacos. We tried the chorizo + potato breakfast taco paired with Chicken Green Sauce & both came out hot with tons of flavor. Perfect quick snack & sampling.
