Impressed!! We LOVED the croissant breakfast sando (it was the most perfect croissant and the aioli was *chefs kiss*) and all of the pastries that we picked out were insane (we got 3 pastries - the olive oil cake was my fav)! We always purchase their bread at the South Pas farmers market too - the owners know their craft and make the best breads and baked goods around. Highly recommend! This is mostly a takeout spot only - there may be some limited seating, but plan to pick up and go! Update: My wife and I have been back a few times since and everything is consistently delicious. 🤤 A new favorite is the vegan peach cake. top! We also love the new Altadena mural they painted on the building. Beautiful addition! This is a great neighborhood spot - everyone is super friendly and we’ve made new friends while waiting in line. Highly recommend!

I got the oat maple loaf at the South Pasadena Farmers Market and made tomato toasts. A thick slice of the bread, raw milk Gruyère, organic local heirloom tomato, topped with unrefined sea salt & pepper and local EVOO. The bread's flavor added a lot. It was fantastic.

The woman who took our order was very rude and seemed annoyed that we wanted to order sandwiches and coffee to eat in as well as pastries to go. It was about an hour before closing but deserted in there, so maybe she was hoping to coast that last hour. So sorry we wanted to support a local, small business. We won’t make that mistake again. We only even came here in the first place because a friend was raving about their bread, but honestly, we can make our own artisan breads for half the price and zero attitude, so we will pass.

I wish I could give this place six stars!! Food is amazing. We literally forgot to take some photos of the pastries because they were eaten too quickly! I see some comments about staff; our experience with the staff was amazing. They were helpful, kind, and patience. They engaged in genuine, heart felt conversations, and were sweet overall. They had great COVID safety protocol. The amazing baked goods could be seen through the window on the street front. Outside distanced line to a safe order window. We grabbed a plum pastry, strawberry pastry, almond croissant, pistachio muffin, and a couple others…it was about $35. There is a parking lot behind the location. It can be a tough to spot the entrance on the street; it is at the north east corner of the building.

Was early for an event at the Rose Bowl and found this a short distance away. Super high quality baked goods made on site and served by the owner herself! Was impressed with the apple pastry and fresh baguette. The baguette held up well for hours and was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The apple taste was not too sweet and the pastry buttery and flaky. No dining area, pickup only (for now). bought a bag of their granola too, haven't tried it yet but price was $10 and the bag was heavy, which bodes well for the value.
