It’s a Home Depot, same as others. Dog friendly, but can be pretty crowded and busy for training if you’re dog is new to being in public.

This review is loooong overdue! Despite this Home Depot location in Pasadena not being as large as the Monrovia store, I always find everything I need. And back in December 2026, I received EXCEPTIONAL customer service when I went in to purchase a refrigerator, stove, washer and dryer. The representative that helped me is Marybeth, she was incredible!!! She literally took her time in explaining the pros and cons of the appliances I was considering purchasing. She never pressured me and was very professional and kind. It's odd, honestly, very odd now a days to receive such exceptional service. And just the other day I happen to go in again looking for some items in gardening and once again a young lady, I wish I had her name, took the time to help me, advised me on soil products I was considering purchasing and I was just taken aback by the fact that they've got some excellent employees there! This is true even for the electric department where I've had to frequent lately. As I stated early on this review should have been posted way back in December, and I just want to shout out MaryBeth and the store manager whose name is Cesar, if I recall correctly, a big thank you for your help and support.
Today a young man named Harold helped load 10 bags of soil into my car. He was professional, kind, sweet and strong. Home Depot should be proud to have an employee such as Harold. Truly impressed with the thought and care I received. As well, the checker at the Garden department was delightful.
John Ishii was so helpful to me. When I went to buy a hand vacuum cleaner, I had no idea about vacuum cleaners, one was Ryobi and another one was … I forgot what manufacturer made. But John explained what difference between the two of them very clearly and nicely. I decided to take a Ryobi brand , but again, I had no idea how to charge a battery for that vacuum cleaner. So, I asked him if I purchased the Ryobi right now, and after I paid for it, he can help me how to use a hand vacuum cleaner and how to change it. He said YES! He explained it very well. After purchasing the Ryobi , I returned to Home Depot, then I asked him to order Eureka vacuum cleaner from online. Because, I was so comfortable with him to ask. Thank you very much for helping me John. I want to ask Home Depot owner, please keep this kind of person as a great employee! Thank you, Mitsuko Okita
If I could give it a zero I would. First off there are a lot of employees talking to eachother avoiding customer eye contact. Secondly, I was not helped at all, lucky I found what I needed. Thirdly, I had to scan the items all by myself which is taking away peoples jobs.. Again heaven forbid the 6 other employees standing around talking help. Then to top it off they made a price error so please becareful and watch the prices listed and what you are being charged. Lastly, I had to get out of line correct their pricing problem go take a picture of the item with the correct price while my 88 yearold mother was waiting for me in line. Then bring them a picture so they could correct the pricing. That is what the lady who works there demanded I do inorder to honor the price. She was too busy talking to her coworker and ignoring customers. There is no customer service. II will take my business to Ace hardware where they still help you and are more customer based.
