Loved this place! The food was amazing and the staff were super sweet! The turkish eggs were delicious! We also enjoyed the caprese and parisian ham sandwiches. The almond cherry cookie, double chocolate cookie, and matcha lemonade were also highlights of our brunch. Stop into the cute little gift shop on the corner, Sidecca, while you wait! One of the servers was sweet enough to come get us when our table was ready. Ɛ> Can’t wait to be back!

My girlfriend and I finally had a chance to have dinner last night at Betsy in Altadena, and it definitely did not disappoint! Everything is cooked over a wood fire, which gives the food such incredible flavor. We started with the burrata and focaccia—the focaccia is baked in a skillet and was absolutely delicious. We also tried the cheese with grilled bread, which was amazing. The salmon was cooked to perfection with the most wonderful buttery flavor, served with organic butter beans and seasonal vegetables. And we finished with the berry cobbler—a very different take on a traditional cobbler and absolutely delicious. The food, the wood-fired cooking, and the ambiance all make Betsy such a special experience. I highly recommend it! One tip: plan ahead. Reservations can be very difficult to get. And if you want to keep the evening going, they also have a bar just two doors down. Such a fantastic addition to Altadena! ❤️🔥🍷
The coffee was so small. My wife got a drip and while it was tasty, she should have ordered a large or something. I was hoping to get a hit chocolate, but they don't serve that. The bar looked awesome, so next time we'll go for food. Nice folks, cool vibe.
Amazing place in amazing Altadena! Perfectly laid back spot with an outstanding Wagyu burger. Pairs well with any wine recommended by Annie. This definitely will be a "must go" when in the area.
I love this place. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome and taken care of. Food - insanely good. We had the bresaola sandwich (best in LA and I’ve had a bunch of them) the kefir bowl (reminds me of beautiful fresh granola bowls from back in aus) and the turkish eggs (first choice off the menu whenever i see it) also had the matcha lemonade and a flat white which were recommended and so delicious. Cant wait to go back, cant wait to try betsy also!!
